Responses to Stern, Brown and Barker
Green Party of England and Wales Male Principal Speaker, and fellow blogger Derek Wall has an excellent article on the recent Stern Report on the economics of climate change over at Red Pepper.
Elsewhere South East England Green MEP Caroline Lucas has responded to Gordon Brown's pre-Budget report. The pre-Budget was also criticised by Friends of The Earth.
Meanwhile the Treasury commissioned Barker Review on planning has come under heavy fire from Friends of the Earth and the New Economics Foundation.

Hi Greenman
I am Molly Scott Cato and I notice you mention my book. Any chance of adding my blog to your list of bloggers? You can find it at:
http://gaianeconomics.blogspot.com/
I'm new to this game and need to get some attention!
Perhaps I know you in person? This web identity business is strange. I first thought about it after reading Woman on the Edge of Time by Marge Piercey.
Thanks
Molly
Hi Molly - certainly will add your blog link - keep up the good work! Looking forward to reading your new book.
I prefer the anonymity thing for this blog as it gives me the freedom to say what I like - and because the 'greenman' pseudonym has a longer history including heated debates on Urban 75 bulletin boards. Keeping anonymous is a small shield for the real me and my family and personal life from some of the, shall we say, 'less-than-nice' individuals out there in cyberspace who might have taken offence at 'greenman's' opinions! Having said that, some of the members of Green Left do know who I am, so I can be vouched for as a real green activist in the final instance.
I think we are acquainted as I have put motions and amendments to conference in the past, but I am mainly a low profile GP member working in my local area.
